Out of the box, Y3PL supports TradeGecko integration. To use our out of box integration, you need to note the following:
- The integration does not support partial fulfillment.
- The integration will check customer stores every 30 minutes, import new shipments with status of "packed"
- The integration will create SKUs that do not exist in the system. Therefore, it is very important the SKUs in the system are the same as TradeGecko store.
- The integration will create a new customer for any B2B customer in TradeGecko (If not existed already)
Y3PL offers a slightly different approach to TradeGecko integration. Instead of importing orders, Y3PL imports shipments. After a shipment is imported into the system, it creates a customer order. This solves the problem where your customer may want to split an order into multiple shipments that are shipped from different 3PL warehouses (i.e. its US warehouse and its Canadian warehouse).
To get started with TradeGecko integration, your customer needs to log into their TradeGecko account first, then go the this application page to create a new application.
Once above application information is entered, click on "Submit" button. They will be directed to a new page with a section called "Privileged Access Token" at the bottom. Click on "CreatePrivileged Token" then send the token to you.
After you receive the privileged token, go to Y3PL main system => settings => integrations
|Integration Name||Give a name to identify this connection.|
|Client||Select the correct 3PL customer|
|Access Token||Copy paste above|
|Default Courier||All orders imported will have this courier assigned. If an order requires different shipping method, the system will list the method under order note field.|
|Warehouse Mapping||This is retrieved from the customer's TradeGecko account, map your warehouse location.|
|Pickup/Dropoff Courier||TradeGecko has 3 courier options under a shipment. The default courier is mapped to a shipment with option of carrier. You can also map a second courier to shipments with option of dropoff or pickup|
Once you fill in above information, click on "Save". The system will try to connect to the store to check the connection. If everything is correct, the store will be checked every 30 minutes.
After an order is shipped, the system will update TradeGecko with the tracking number and set the shipment status as "fulfilled"
